Submission Guidelines for the JILPS Blog
The JILPS Blog is the dedicated commentary and public scholarship platform of the Journal of International Law, Politics and Society (JILPS). It provides a space for original, concise and engaging contributions on contemporary issues concerning law, politics, international affairs, governance and society. The Blog complements the scholarly work published through JILPS while providing a more accessible forum for timely legal and interdisciplinary discussion. JILPS itself is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal covering law, governance, human rights, diplomacy, development and socio-political change.
Who Can Submit?
Submissions are welcome from legal academicians, faculty members, researchers, doctoral scholars, practising advocates, legal professionals, postgraduate and undergraduate students, policy researchers, scholars from allied disciplines, and independent researchers or writers with an interest in law, politics, international affairs or society. Co-authored submissions are also welcome.

We welcome submissions under the following categories:
- Original Research: Short pieces emerging from ongoing or recently completed research.
- Commentary: Analysis of recent judgments, legislation, policies, regulatory developments and contemporary legal issues.
- International Affairs: Commentary on international law, diplomacy, global governance, international relations and emerging global developments.

- Interdisciplinary Perspectives: Contributions examining issues at the intersection of law, politics, governance, technology and society.
- Contemporary Issues: Short analytical pieces addressing significant developments of current legal, political or social relevance.
The Blog is intended for analysis and informed commentary, rather than purely descriptive reporting, generic opinion pieces or promotional content.
